Getting to work
I've been a writer and editor for more than 20 years. During that time I've had the chance to cover school bake sales, presidential vacations and much more in between. Today, most of my work falls into four categories: fishing, travel and tourism, business and motor sports. Follow the links below to read some of my writing.
On the water
Fishing has been a lifelong passion for me. My articles go beyond how and explore the why, when and where. Building better anglers.
Down the road
My travel and tourism articles take you to the destination and point out the sights along the way.
Doing business
North Carolina's business climate ranks as one of the best year after year. As an editor and contributor to award-winning Business North Carolina magazine, I've seen it from the business and economic-development point of views.
At the track
Auto racing has always been a part of my life. From the sweeping turns of Oswego Speedway on the shore of Lake Ontario to the hammer-down half-miles of Central Pennsylvania to the temper-shortening confines of Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C., I've watched and wrote about some the best short-track drivers to turn a wheel.
